On the ground floor of Palazzo Medici Riccardi, the first palace of Florence's most famous family, a passion for 20th-century works of art has broken out. The new exhibition entitled Passione Novecento da Paul Klee a Damien Hirst. Works from private collections opened on September 24th and will end on January 8th, 2023.
The works on display, all from private collectors, are by Giorgio de Chirico, Giorgio Morandi, Alberto Savinio, Arturo Martini, Fausto Melotti, Lucio Fontana, Alberto Burri, Paul Klee, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Louise Burgeois, Alighiero Boetti, Daniel Buren, Damien Hirst, Cecily Brown, Ai Weiwei, Tracey Emin, Olafur Eliasson and others.
Together with the Palazzo Strozzi exhibition, the panorama of contemporary art is significantly enriched in Florence.
