Here comes a new exhibition dedicated to contemporary art at Palazzo Strozzi, in Florence. The title is “Reaching for the stars” and it celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Collection, one of the most prestigious contemporary art collections in Italy.
The 70 artworks exhibited in Strozzi’s halls, paintings, sculptures, photographs, videos and installations. are signed by some leading Italian and international artists, such as: Maurizio Cattelan, Cindy Sherman, Damien Hirst, Lara Favaretto, William Kentridge, Berlinde De Bruyckere, Sarah Lucas, Lynette Yiadom-Boakye.
There are guided tours scheduled for adults, a dedicated itinerary for children, as well as a dedicated itinerary for teenagers, who can approach contemporary art on their own, or through specifically conceived guided tours.
From March 4 until June 18, at Palazzo Strozzi, Florence.
