Artigianato & Palazzo : for all Florentines an unmissable event, for tourists a discovery to be made. This event, which is halfway between a fair, a workshop and an open-air party, is 30 years old.
Thirty editions to valorise and promote the know-how of the hands, the craft traditions, the most daring innovations. All this in a timeless setting, the garden, farm outbuildings and rooms of a noble palace in the centre of Florence, a true immersion in beauty.
So the magic will be repeated from 13 to 15 September 2024: in addition to master craftsmen from Italy and around the world, a focus will be opened on restorers, thanks to the project Firenze città del restauro of the local Chamber of Commerce.
There will also be several special projects: exhibitions, meetings, debates, workshops and guided tours of the garden Giardino Corsini sul Prato, a true 'pearl' in the heart of the city.
In addition, fundraising to restore Buontalenti's Loggia, which 'introduces' the garden from the palace: the intention is to open it in the future for free use by the public.
The theme of restoration is the focus of this edition due to its cultural value and its role in transmitting know-how.
