After the forced stop in 2020, the Firenze Marathon is back, the main road running event in Tuscany, second only to the one in Rome at national level and among the top 20 most important marathons in the world. The marathon runs through landscapes and monuments throughout the historic centre of the city of Florence.
This year's edition, the XXXVII, takes up the route of previous years: start and finish marathon from Piazza del Duomo along the classic distance of 42.195 km through the Cascine park, the lungarni, Ponte Vecchio, the sports complex of Viale Manfredo Fanti.
Those who signed up for last year's event, which was cancelled due to the covid emergency, can take part in this year's race or the next two Firenze Marathon events free of charge by requesting a voucher by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
