Benozzo Gozzoli and the Magi Chapel

Benozzo Gozzoli and the Magi Chapel

The exhibition dedicated to Benozzo Gozzoli describes the artist and his links with the Medici family and the city of Florence, the place where the painter took his first steps and with which he always maintained a special relationship.

The exhibition, set up in the Medici Museum in Palazzo Medici Riccardi, describes the origin of the fresco in the Magi Chapel (located on the upper floor) alongside Benozzo's works from several Italian museums. Between original works and multimedia creations, you will discover the life and work of a great master of the Italian Renaissance.
