After the great exhibitions Henry Moore. Il Disegno dello scultore, and Henry Moore in Tosana, both hosted at the Museo Novecento, the city of Florence pays tribute to the English master with a project realised thanks to the collaboration with the Henry Moore Foundation and the BIAF - Biennale Internazionale dell'Antiquariato di Firenze.
The exhibition Henry Moore in Florence, curated by the Henry Moore Foundation and Museo Novecento, presents two monumental works from the great sculptural production of Henry Moore (Castleford, 1898 - Perry Green 1986): Family Group and Large Interior Form, which will be placed respectively in two iconic locations in the city: Piazza della Signoria and the churchyard of the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte, in dialogue with the historical and artistic heritage of Florence
The exhibition, scheduled to run from 16 September 2022 until 31 March 2023, joins those already held in previous years that have seen temporary art dialogue with the city's great historical and artistic heritage, such as those of Fabre and Koons, Fisher and Vezzoli.
The exhibition also confirms the renewed collaboration with Biennale Internazionale dell'Antiquariato.
