From 20 to 22 February 2026, Florence host Danzainfiera, the leading international trade fair dedicated to the world of dance.
At the Fortezza da Basso, industry professionals, schools, companies, and enthusiasts will come together for three days featuring performances, training activities, and moments of inspiration, in a dynamic and engaging environment that will enliven the city even during the winter season.
Danzainfiera is not merely an exhibition event, but a comprehensive experience: a place where talent can emerge, passions are shared, and new opportunities take shape, through stages, rehearsal studios, and meetings with prominent figures from the international dance scene.
The 2026 edition offers a rich calendar of initiatives designed both for professionals and for those who practise dance as a passion, including: live performances featuring Italian and international companies; masterclasses and workshops in classical, contemporary, hip hop, modern, jazz, urban, and Latin-American dance styles; auditions and casting opportunities promoted by academies, companies, and theatre productions; talks, meetings, and workshops with choreographers, dancers, and industry professionals; an exhibition area dedicated to brands specialising in dancewear and accessories.

Among the highlights and new features not to be missed: an exploration of the Korean pop phenomenon with the special K-CODE events; the new Health & Wellness area; the Showbiz meetings and the latest trends from Broadway and the West End; the long‑established choreographic showcases Dance Parade and Junior Parade; and the major competitions, including the Expression International Dance Competition, the largest international dance contest organised by the International Dance Association (IDA), involving more than 2,500 dancers.
The participation of major international academies is confirmed: from the Accademia Teatro alla Scala to prestigious U.S. institutions such as The Ailey School and the Joffrey Ballet School in New York.
