MIDA 2026 - International Crafts Fair

The 90th edition of MIDA – International Crafts Fair, scheduled to take place at the Fortezza da Basso in Florencefrom April 25th to May 3rd, 2026, celebrates a historic milestone with a rich calendar of events alongside the exhibition of around 500 Italian and international artisans.

At the heart of the 2026 edition is an extensive program of events focused on key themes in the sector: sustainability, innovation, generational transition, and new technologies. Highlights include the international conference on Geographical Indications for artisanal products (April 29) and the European Crafts Alliance Annual Conference (April 30), which will focus on the relationship between craftsmanship and well-being.

The event will also feature workshops, hands-on labs for young people and visitors, cooking shows, exhibitions celebrating the 90th anniversary, and special projects related to Made in Italy. Completing the program, evening events with live music and DJ sets will transform the Fortezza into a dynamic cultural space open to the city.

MIDA 2026 thus confirms itself not only as a showcase of artisanal excellence, but also as a meeting place and a space for reflection on the future developments of the sector.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the fair, depending on the type. In the evening, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, free entry is available with street food and live music. On May 3, closing time is 8:00 PM.
