PlaYOUt ESTATE 2026 - ContempoartEnsemble

From June 19 to July 2, 2026, PlaYOut ESTATE 2026 – Contempoartensemble: Voices for Florence returns with three concerts featuring the Roberto Molinelli String Trio, the string quartet The Three Musketeers (I Tre Moschettieri), and the String Ensemble composed of Ceccanti, Podestà, Rosadini, Patelli, Ceccanti, and Urbini.

Admission is free until all seats are available. In case of bad weather, the concerts will still take place at the scheduled locations, but in indoor venues.

On Friday, June 19, 2026, the Cloister of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze will host Legends of Rock, featuring legendary songs by The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Kiss, and Metallica, reimagined in a virtuosic instrumental arrangement for string trio by Roberto Molinelli.

The evening will include a conversation with the artists followed by the concert.

Cello Contamination: from Purcell to Morricone

On Friday, June 26, 2026, at the Dino Campana Historic Hall of the Biblioteca delle Oblate, a program dedicated to the fusion of genres, eras, and musical languages will be performed by I Tre Moschettieri, a quartet of young cellists.

The concert will feature music by Henry Purcell, Carlos Gardel, Astor Piazzolla, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Queen, Johann Sebastian Bach, and Ennio Morricone.

Brahms, the Light of Strings

On Friday, July 2, 2026, at the Dino Campana Historic Hall of the Biblioteca delle Oblate, a program dedicated to Brahms’s sonatas for violin and strings will be performed by a string ensemble featuring:

  • Duccio Ceccanti and Eleonora Podestà – violins
  • Edoardo Rosadini and Viola Patelli – violas
  • Vittorio Ceccanti and Myriam Urbini – cellos

The concert will showcase the richness and expressive beauty of Brahms’s chamber music through the artistry of this distinguished ensemble.
