Il Ciro by Alessandro Scarlatti at Teatro Goldoni

On October 10 and 11, Alessandro Scarlatti's opera Il Ciro, based on the drama by Cardinal Pietro Ottoboni, will be staged at the Teatro Goldoni in Florence.

This is the first performance in modern times since 1712, marking the 300th anniversary of the composer's death.
