At this time of the year people are not only waiting for Christmas, but also for New Year's Eve!
As per tradition, it will be possible to celebrate New Year's Eve and the arrival of 2026 in a series of squares, with different programs and something for everyone, starting at 10,30 p.m.: at Santissima Annunziata square, there will be a Gospel performance (two choirs, “Pilgrims Gospel” and “Light Gospel” accompanied by the Fiorentina Chamber Orchestra); in Piazza Signoria, there will be an event with special light shows by MUS.E; in Piazza del Carmine, there will be jazz with the Nico Gori Young Lions group accompanied by trumpeter Fabrizio Bosso.
The highlight will be in Piazza Santa Croce, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., with a big night of music, in collaboration with Sky, featuring several Italian artists such as Tiromancino, Paola Iezzi, Franco126, Sarafine, Layana, Tomasi, and Lele Sacchi.
If you prefer to reach the neighbouring city of Scandicci - only 30 minutes by tram, which will be riding all night long, you'll find a free open air concert by Daniele Silvestri.
