The Mnozil Brass will be in concert on Wednesday, February 11th at the Teatro Verdi in Florence with their new show “STRAU$$”, a brilliant and irreverent tribute to the world of Johann Strauss. Since 1992, these extraordinary musicians have been moving back and forth between Strauss and Sinatra, Schubert and Queen.
In “STRAU$$”, the Mnozil Brass journey through the history of music in a playful itinerary that spans from the mid-nineteenth century to the present day: from Johann Strauss to Gershwin, from Ravel to Mozart, and on to Lady Gaga, Billy Joel, and many others.
An evening with the Mnozil Brass is a unique experience: virtuosity, theater, irony, and pure music. Absolute icons for musicians, they are the most virtuosic and daring brass band in the world, founded in Vienna in 1996.
