Pensare & comunicare. Il Segno Toscano| Thinking & Communicating. The Tuscan Style

Exhibitions

The Murate Idea Park is hosting the exhibition Pensare & comunicare. Il Segno Toscano (Thinking & Communicating. The Tuscan Style) from 3 to 23 June 2026. This exhibition explores the extraordinary history of Tuscan graphic design from the 1960s to 2020, highlighting how it has interpreted and reflected the profound cultural, social and political changes in the country.

Conceived by Andrea Rauch – a master of graphic design who recently passed away – the exhibition traces the evolution of a visual language that has transcended its advertising function to become a tool for participation, civic education and the shaping of the collective imagination, through a selection of posters from the collection of MAGMA – the Museum and Archive of Graphic Design and Posters in Civitanova Marche.

The exhibition pays tribute not only to the memory of Andrea Rauch but also to that of Roberto Nistri, the long-standing editor of Controradio, a passionate collector and advocate of visual culture as a form of participation and social innovation.

The initiative is promoted and organised by the Cartacanta APS association and Controradio, in collaboration with the MAGMA Museum in Civitanova Marche, Arci Firenze and MAD Murate Art District, and the MUS.E. Foundation.
