Ten Years of the Museo degli Innocenti – Free Admission on June 24

Nearly 700,000 visitors over the past ten years, more than thirty exhibitions, new exhibition spaces, and thousands of children and families taking part in educational activities each year: in 2026, the Museo degli Innocenti celebrates the tenth anniversary of its reopening, which took place in 2016 following a major renovation project.

To mark this important milestone, on Tuesday, June 24, the museum will offer free admission to all visitors, providing a special opportunity to discover—or rediscover—one of Florence’s most significant landmarks of history and culture.
