From 10 to 13 September 2026, the Teatro Affratellamento in Florence will host the tenth edition of the African Diaspora Cinema Festival (ADCF), dedicated to African cinema, the African diaspora and films about Africa.
This year’s theme is xenophobia, explored through 19 films selected from 179 submissions from 50 countries. Feature films, short films and documentaries address themes such as identity, migration, rights, memory, discrimination and resistance.
During the festival, audiences will also have the opportunity to meet some of the directors of the films in the programme, who will engage in discussions with the audience after the screenings.
