From 7 to 12 April 2026, the European Artistic Crafts Days (GEMA) will return, the event organised simultaneously in various European countries to attract the attention of the general public to the artistic crafts and craft professions, seeking to disseminate the culture linked to the trades and the transmission of knowledge.
For this 20th edition in 2026, the theme is ‘Traits d'union’, to highlight the link between artistic craftsmanship and the territories where it is produced and developed, weaving connections between tradition and innovation, between the near and the universal.
The heart of the workshops is the Vecchio Conventino in Oltrarno, home of Officina Creativa. Workshops and meetings are all for free.
