8:30 a.m.: Procession of Homage, departure from Piazza de' Peruzzi and arrival in Piazza della Signoria

9:00 a.m.: Exhibition of Uffizi Flag Wavers - Piazza Signoria

9:30: Procession Offering of the Candles - Piazza Signoria - Via Calzaiuoli - Piazza del Duomo

10:00: Ostension of the Reliquary and Crosses of St. John the Baptist - Loggia del Bigallo and Baptistery of St. John followed by Offering of the Candles to the Archbishop and the Florentine Chapter - Baptistery of St. John

10:30: Solemn Mass in the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.

It is a historical reenactment and a sporting competition that combines Florentine tradition with the show of rowing in honor of Saint John the Baptist, the patron saint of the city of Florence.

The competition takes place on the Arno River in Florence, where crews representing the city's four historic districts compete in a regatta along a course between Santa Trinita Bridge, Ponte Vecchio, and the Uffizi Gallery.

Starting at 8:30 PM at Lungarno della Zecca Vecchia, at the headquarters of the Società di San Giovanni Battista, the Brass Ensemble of the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory of Music of Florence will perform a concert. The program includes, among other pieces, Charpentier's Te Deum, Handel's Music for the Royal Fireworks, Offenbach's Can-Can, and selections from Giuseppe Verdi's Aida.

At 10:00 PM, the traditional Fochi di San Giovanni (St. John’s Fireworks) will begin, with the first fireworks launched from Piazzale Michelangelo, offering residents and visitors a breathtaking display that will bring four days of celebrations to a spectacular close.
