DegustaVino Via Gioberti

DegustaVino Via Gioberti returns on Sunday, October 11, organized by the Le Cento Botteghe di Via Gioberti association, this year in collaboration with the Chianti Classico Wine Consortium.

From 12:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Via Gioberti will be closed to traffic and transformed into a large open-air wine cellar. Along the street, 31 Chianti Classico Gallo Nero wineries will be showcasing around 100 DOCG wines for visitors to taste. Throughout the day, shops and local businesses will remain open, with tables and outdoor seating extending along the pedestrianized street.

Three guided wine tours will also take place during the afternoon, by reservation:

• 3:00 p.m. – “Small but Great Wineries”: a tasting dedicated to three wineries covering less than 10 hectares.
• 4:00 p.m. – “Vintage, Riserva, Gran Selezione”: a journey through the different levels of the Gallo Nero wine “pyramid”.
• 5:00 p.m. – “Higher Up!”: a tasting focused on wines produced at altitudes above 450 metres.
