The Marucelliana Library in Florence presents the exhibition "Encyclopedia of the Other. The heritage of the Marucelliana Library and knowledge of Africa" scheduled from 5 February to 3 April. The exhibition is part of a broader historiographical and critical debate that, in recent decades, has focused on the theme of otherness and the historical ways in which it has been constructed and represented.
