The Easter concert on April 2, 2026 at the Teatro Verdi features two lively and brilliant works, focusing on energy and freshness. The orchestra is conducted by the young South Korean maestro Min Gyu Song, winner of the 2023 Malko Competition and rapidly rising across Europe.
The program opens with the Violin Concerto No. 5 “Turkish” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, characterized by lyrical moments and lively passages, performed by the young violinist Simon Zhu.
This is followed by Symphony No. 8 by Ludwig van Beethoven, one of his most compact and ironic works, full of energy and humor.
