Privacy Notice

Who processes my personal data?
The Municipality of Florence, as data controller (with registered office in Palazzo Vecchio - Piazza della Signoria, IT-50122 - P.IVA 01307110484; PEC: protocollo@pec.comune.fi.it; Switchboard: +39 055055), will process the personal data conferred using mainly computerised and telematic methods, for the purposes envisaged by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (RGPD), in particular for the performance of its tasks of public interest or in any case connected to the exercise of its public powers, including the purposes of archiving, historical research and analysis for statistical purposes. 

Do I have to provide the data?
The provision of data in the fields marked with an asterisk (*) or other distinctive element is mandatory and failure to provide such data does not allow the service to be provided. On the other hand, the provision of the data in the fields not marked with an asterisk, while it may be useful to facilitate the provision of the service, is optional and failure to provide it does not affect the provision of the service.

How long will my data be processed?
The data will be processed for as long as necessary for the provision of the service and, after the service has been completed, the data will be retained for 60 days in accordance with the regulations on the retention of administrative documents.

To whom are my data sent?
The data will be disclosed to third parties and disseminated only in the cases provided for by the general or sector regulations in force and indicated in the detailed information of each service.

What rights do I have over my data?
You can exercise the following rights at any time:
You may, at any time, exercise your rights:
- to request further information in relation to the contents of this notice;
- to access your personal data;
- to obtain the rectification or deletion of your personal data or the restriction of their processing (in the cases provided for by the legislation);
- to object to the processing and the portability of the data (in the cases provided for by the legislation);
- to revoke consent, where provided for; revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before revocation;
- to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Garante Privacy);
- to give a mandate to a non-profit body, organisation or association, to exercise his rights;
- to request compensation for damages resulting from violation of the legislation.

Interested parties, where applicable, also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante as supervisory authority in accordance with the established procedures.
