From October 3, 2026, to January 8, 2027, the Museo della Specola in Florence will host “Geography of Small Worlds”, an exhibition dedicated to the creative universe of Patrizio Di Sciullo, printmaker and lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Frosinone.
At the heart of the exhibition are works created by the artist from the 2000s to the present day, in which nature and the human figure are explored through an exceptionally refined printmaking technique. The exhibition offers an anthology of his rigorous and highly personal artistic research, in which technical mastery becomes a tool for philosophical and naturalistic exploration.
Di Sciullo’s works establish a compelling dialogue between art and science, inviting visitors to observe the natural world from a perspective that is at once intimate, analytical, and imaginative.
The exhibition is included in the museum admission ticket.
Di Sciullo explores the morphologies of insects, shells, and intertwined branches, not only to celebrate their intrinsic geometric perfection, but also to reflect, through the engraved mark, on the great universal themes of the cycle of life, the passage of time, and the sense of the absolute contained within the microscopic details of the natural world.
