If you want to discover or rediscover Santa Croce church in Florence, know that the perfect opportunity is coming up! From November 1 until spring 2023, 52 free guided tours are going to lead you through the beauty of this awe-inspiring place. The tours are mostly going to take place on weekends and holidays, at 3pm, and have to be reserved.
Tourists and florentines (adults as well as families with children) are going to find out more about the famous tombs housed by Santa Croce (Galileo’s, Michelangelo’s, Machiavelli’s…), about the masterpieces that make this FrancIscan church unique and their iconography.
The reservation can be made through the official website of Santa Croce (www.santacroceopera.it). While the residents of Florence Municipality don’t pay the entrance ticket nor the guided tour, everyone else will have to pay the admission fee.
