The European Night of Museums is back again this year. On 17 May 2025 many museum, including those in and around Florence, will guarantee evening openings with reduced fee (€1), or free admission, often accompanied by guided tours and other events also the following day.
On Saturday 17 May, symbolic entrance at €1 in the evening (approx. 7-10 pm) in the following museums in Florence: Archaeological Museum, Uffizi and Accademia Galleries, Medici Chapels, Bargello, Opificio delle Pietre Dure. Also during extraordinary hours, free admission also to the following places in and around Florence: Medici Villas of Petraia and Cerreto Guidi, Museo dell'Opera del Duomo, Salvatore Ferragamo Museum and the Archaeological Museum of Fiesole.
The event, of international scope, is organised by ICOMOS (International Council of Museums).
