A colourful universe of fantastic beings and bright colours characterises the creations of the artist Fortunato Depero, who was part of the second Futurism.
The works on display, including the large tapestry Cavalcata fantastica (Fantastic Ride), which gives the exhibition its name, and Nitrito di velocità, from 1932, which is usually kept at the Museo Novecento in Florence, range from canvases and tapestries to set designs and sketches for stage costumes.
