For lovers of handicrafts, these dates have always been a certainty: the MIDA International Handicrafts Fair takes place from 25 April to 1 May, in Florence.
The venue is also the same, the Fortezza da Basso, where one can discover the most original creators and the most beautiful works of handicrafts from Italy and various countries around the world. This year's exhibition, edition no. 88, features several special projects, which go hand in hand with the sale.
These include selected projects for the promotion of international artistic handicrafts, starting from Tuscany. In addition, events dedicated to handicrafts for the theatre, with the presentation of historical pieces from the Maggio Musicale Archives. Also worthy of note is the exhibition at the Polveriera, an area entirely dedicated to goldsmith training.
For the first time at the same time as MIDA, the Fortezza da Basso is hosting the 9th edition of the Art and Restoration Fair.
