Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 May 2025 sees the return of Buongiorno Ceramica!, the event organised by AiCC - the Italian Association of Ceramic Cities, now in its 11th edition, which simultaneously involves 58 Italian municipalities in a true widespread celebration in which all those involved in the production and cultural promotion of Italian artistic and artisan ceramics take part.
48 hours to explore the richness of the immense heritage produced by a technique that is both ancient and contemporary, a journey through ancient villages and urban centres large and small, recognised as territories of ‘established ceramic tradition’, with their workshops, ateliers, museums, schools, art galleries and public spaces.
Workshops for adults and children, exhibitions, installations, guided tours, performances, food and wine events, live demonstrations, lectures, but also many contaminations with dance, theatre, music, cinema and literature: there will be over 500 appointments during the two days of ceramic events open to a public of enthusiasts and the curious. An invitation to meet the protagonists of the sector, master craftsmen and young artists and designers, following themed routes and exploring both age-old traditions and the most innovative creativity. All this is Buongiorno Ceramica!, an intense weekend to discover Italian ceramics together.
As far as the province of Florence is concerned, the participating towns are Borgo San Lorenzo, Impruneta, Montelupo Fiorentino and Sesto Fiorentino.
