The parish church of Saints Giovanni Battista and Lorenzo in Signa since December 2010, houses the new museum of Sacred Art, supported by the Municipality, with the patronage of the Tuscany Region and AMEI - Association of Italian Ecclesiastical Museums. An articulated path was created that includes the parish church, the churchyard, the cloister and some rooms of the rectory where, since 2008, some precious liturgical furnishings linked to the cult and devotion of Blessed Giovanna had been exhibited. The idea of expanding this first exhibition area was born to better protect the artistic heritage, creating a collection and conservation point for works from various churches in the vicariate.
