The museum occupies part of the former monastery of the Benedictines of Saint Apollonia and houses detached frescoes and sinopie by Andrea del Castagno and 15th-century works from the monastery. On the end wall of the refectory is a fresco of the Last Supper by Andrea del Castagno and, above, a Resurrection, a Crucifixion and a Deposition dating to 1447.
