Set up to preserve local historic roots and with a clear educational mission, the Ethnographic Museum is divided into three sections: geo-archaeological materials uncovered during excavation of the ruins of the medieval castle of the Conti Alberti; the habits and customs of rural life, including exhibits of equipment and tools used in the past and reconstructions of agricultural settings and craft activities; and objects relating to the Second World War, with particular reference to the Gothic Line that ran along these mountains.
