The museum houses about one hundred items that are representative in terms of innovation, design and creativity, produced from 1960 to the present day. The collection is organized temporally or by affinity of values, and stresses the development and structural links between Italian design and industrial production. The collection features some of the top names in Italian design, ranging from Giugiaro to Sottsass, including a number of items by Renzo Piano and Enzo Mari.
