The Poggiali gallery was established in Florence with the aim of pursuing projects that are expressly realised with artists, whether with historical figures or ones from the new generations. Enzo Cucchi, Eliseo Mattiacci, Luigi Ontani, Claudio Parmiggiani and Gilberto Zorio are among the artists that have ,displayed their works here in tailor-made exhibitions, each time accompanied by a special catalogue. For years the gallery has been following the careers of Giovanni Frangi, Luca Pignatelli, Manfredi Beninati and Marco Fantini. It has been promoting the work of Fabio Viale since 2014, playing a role in his invitation to the Venice Biennale in 2019 and to the Glyptothek Museum in Munich. It further collaborates closely with museums. In addition to its venue in Florence, Poggiali has opened two locations in Pietrasanta – in Via Garibaldi and in the historic former art foundry named after Luigi Tommasi – and, in 2018, one in Milan, in Foro Buonaparte 52.
