A book collection belonged to the Sansoni family, who lived in the current Town Hall from 1880 to 1943.
The 903 works in 1345 volumes of the collection, mainly from the 1800s, belonged to the private library of Eugenio Sansoni, an illustrious figure of the city of Livorno, and were donated by Eugenio's niece, Maria Stella Sansoni, to the municipality of Pontassieve in 2013. The books are in consultation by telephone booking and the entire inventory of the collection is deposited in the Archive of the Municipal Library.
