1 stone: Lucia Levi in Levy

Lucia LEVI was the last descendant of a Sephardic family, living in Florence for several centuries and actively contributing to the Jewish community. She was the youngest daughter of Ottavio, a painter, whose paintings are exhibited in the Jewish museum and testify to the presence of the small synagogues in via delle Oche. Her mother belonged to the SFORNI family, known for their collections of paintings. Lucia’s heirs donated a beautiful portrait of her as a young bride to the Jewish Community.
