The Collegiate Church of Saints Lawrence and Leonard is located in the historical centre of the city a few metres from the Town Hall and the Palazzo Pretorio.
The exterior features a simple gabled facade with a lunette portal and a Romanesque mullioned window, while the interior has a more Baroque appearance with some works by Giovanni Camillo Sagrestani, mostly portraying stories related to Saint Verdiana, who was born in this area.
The Collegiata originally housed the Madonna of Castelfiorentino a panel attributed to Cimabue , dating back to the year 1283-1284, this work is currently kept in the Museum of Sacred Art of Santa Verdiana.
