The new exhibition by Florentine street artist couple Lediesis Corpus Dominae will take place at the Ottagono delle Murate from April 19 to May 31.
Florentine Lediesis, Italy's most celebrated pair of street artists, have created a highly original tribute to great female personalities from the world ofart, cinema and literature. All characterized by the "S" of Superman flaming on their chests and the wink with which they wink at the viewer.
The exhibition, promoted on the occasion of the events Women - A Timeless Struggle curated by CGIL Toscana, takes its cue from the cycle ofConversations on the Body scheduled during the event and highlights emotions and diversity through the narrative of women's bodies.
The artists propose the theme of the body through the images of their famous Superwomen that tell the female role models of all times: The liberated body, the disabled body, the old body,and the body of a thousand colors, the poor body and the body and pleasure. Figures real and imaginary, but nevertheless free and enlightened, with which every individual can identify.
The exhibition will also feature the new work A Timeless Struggle made especially for the exhibition
