The exhibition at the Museo Novecento offers a unique opportunity to document, for the first time in an Italian museum, the presence and activities of Villa Romana from the 20th century to the present. The exhibition includes archival materials and works by significant artists connected to the institution's history, such as Ernst Barlach, Georg Baselitz, Max Beckmann, and many others. The works come from the Villa Romana collection and from prestigious Italian and international museums. The project is part of a collaboration between the Museo Novecento and Villa Romana, aimed at strengthening the connection with the local area and opening up to innovative languages.
