Florence Lights Up

Florence Lights Up

The Florence Lights Up lights were switched on on 6 December. During the pre-Christmas period and throughout the festive season, until 6 January, the city will be decked out in lights at its iconic locations and neighbourhoods.

The lights range from decorations on giant Christmas trees to evocative projections on the façades of monuments in the city centre: Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio, and the Church of San Paolino.
These projections and video mappings are the real spectacle that enchants visitors to the city year after year.
The same goes for the installations on Palazzo Medici Riccardi, Museo Novecento, Piazza San Lorenzo and the Chamber of Commerce.

A sparkling display that creates a festive atmosphere and lights up the long Florentine nights, both in the city centre and in the neighbourhoods.
