The Sesto Fiorentino Ceramics Archive

Points of interest
Museums

The Ceramics Archive preserves the manufacturing history of Sesto Fiorentino, where the ceramics and porcelain industry was a driving force until the post-war period.

Ceramics are the beating heart of Sesto Fiorentino, and the local council is proudly committed to maintaining, safeguarding and breathing new life into a place that serves as a living, creative memorial to Sesto’s ceramics.

The Archive is situated in a small, characteristic space, recognisable from the outside by a mural that embodies the simplicity and warmth of the art and culture that characterise Sesto Fiorentino.
It is a multifunctional space that displays works and tools by local ceramists to the public, as well as housing areas where the art of ceramics is practised and taught.
