Getting around Florence by bike is now even easier thanks to the innovative free-floating bike-sharing scheme. Bikes for everyone – Florentines and tourists alike – for quick and eco-friendly journeys.
How do you use the service? First, you need to download the freeRideMovi APP (App Store or Google Play). You will receive a verification code to enter in order to pay a small deposit. The app will immediately show the nearest bike on the map. In addition to ‘traditional’ bikes, the bike-sharing scheme also offers the convenient RideMovi e-Bikes (electric bikes with pedal assistance). Please remember to park only in designated areas.
The dockless electric bike hire service provided by BitMobility and Bird Rides Italy is also available in the Sesto Fiorentino area.
