The Toscanello d'Oro festival runs for six days, from 28 May to 2 June, reflecting the spirit and vitality of the local community in the heart of Pontassieve.
It naturally centres on wine, a key local product, giving prominence to local wine producers; but it also extends to good food, culture and music, with a strong emphasis on conviviality.
Among the supporting events, the town is adorned with the most beautiful shop window and a competition for flower-filled balconies. And there is no shortage of opportunities to explore the area, with day and night excursions available by booking.
All that remains is to make a note of the events and set off for Pontassieve!
