Autumn colours

After a hot summer finally autumn has arrived, the season of early cold, sunny days and rains, and warm colors.

For all foliage lovers, this season is a joy: just walk in a city park or venture a bit outside the city to be immersed in fairy-tale atmospheres. Among the easiest places to reach, we recommend the Cascine Park, with its parade of splendid ginkgo biloba trees dressed in gold, Villa Strozzi Park in Oltrarno, Villa il Ventaglio Park at the foot of the Fiesole hill.

Outside the city, the Poggio Valicaia Park near Scandicci, the huge Vallombrosa Forest, the Settignano hill, the Bosconi between Fiesole and Olmo, and the woods of Londa are highly recommended.
