Combined tickets and museum passes
Whilst everyone is familiar with the Firenze Card – undoubtedly the most popular way to gain access to numerous museums – there are also many other types of multi-entry tickets offered by various museum networks.
Passpartout - 5 days
The Uffizi Galleries’ Passepartout – 5-day ticket is very interesting and includes: the Uffizi Gallery, all the museums in Palazzo Pitti, and the Boboli Gardens. It consists solely of individual admissions to the included museums and is valid for 5 days.
It costs €40, but given the option to include the Vasari Corridor, there is also a version available for €58.
In addition, a single ticket for Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens is available, valid for one day, at a cost of €22.
These tickets can be purchased on the official Website of the Uffizi Galleries.
Accademia's combined
New ticket options for the Accademia Gallery and the Bargello National Museum. The options are: a 48-hour combined ticket and a 72-hour combined ticket.
The 48-hour combined ticket includes the Accademia Gallery and the Bargello National Museum, and costs €26.
The 72-hour combined ticket, on the other hand, includes the six museums under the same management, namely the Accademia Gallery, the Bargello Museum, the Medici Chapels, Casa Martelli, Palazzo Davanzati and Orsanmichele; the cost is €38.
These tickets can be purchased on the Accademia Gallery’s official website.
Medici Villas
Since the introduction of an admission charge, a combined ticket has also been available for the Medici Villas, which, as we recall, have been inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
For the two neighbouring villas, Villa Petraia and the Gardens of Villa di Castello, the ticket costs €10.00.
A more comprehensive ticket covering Villa della Petraia, the Villa di Castello Gardens, Villa di Cerreto Guidi and Villa di Poggio a Caiano (in the province of Prato) costs €16 and is valid for 12 months.
These tickets can be purchased on the Coopculture website.
The passes of the Santa Maria del Fiore complex
The Cathedral Complex has a ticketing system offering three different passes:
the Brunelleschi Pass, including access to all the monuments of the complex (reservation required only for the dome (cupola) € 30;
the Giotto Pass including access to all the monuments, except the dome (cupola) € 20;
the Ghiberti Pass including access to the Museum, Baptistry and Crypt € 15.
The entrance to the Cathedral is still free.
Natural History Museums
For science enthusiasts, there is also the option to purchase a combined ticket granting access to Florence’s Natural History Museums.
The museums are organised into thematic sections; the ticket includes the Geology and Palaeontology section, the Anthropology and Ethnology section, and the Botanical Garden (Giardino dei Semplici): the pass is valid for 3 months and can be purchased for €10 on the official website.
There are also annual subscriptions offering unlimited access throughout the year, including temporary exhibitions and priority admission to the Uffizi Galleries or the Friends of the Uffizi card.
