Mercantia, dream nights

Theater, music, dance, small performances in secret gardens, and the rousing marching bands: this is the established yet always surprising formula of Mercantia, held in Certaldo on July nights.

From July 15 to 19, starting at 8 p.m., the whirlwind of shows, jugglers, street and circus performers, and marching bands comes to life. In addition, 22 artists will present public art projects, and artisans will be present throughout the village.

Tickets for access to the village are on sale online, through the Ticketone network, or in Piazza Boccaccio in Certaldo during the Festival: Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.; Thursdays through Sundays from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Furthermore, in this edition of Mercantia, the exhibitions and art installations will be dedicated to the puppet Pinocchio and his creator, Collodi, whose 200th birthday is being celebrated this year.
