IED Florence is hosting the exhibition "Dressing is easy / New radical forms", a project by Dario Bartolini - Archizoom, at the former Teatro dell'Oriuolo from 3 April to 22 May 2025. This is the first part of "Campo Aperto", an initiative promoted by IED Florence that opens the former Teatro dell'Oriuolo to the city, transforming it into a public space where school and disciplines intertwine.
The project gives a modern interpretation of the visionary legacy of Vestirsi è facile_Dressing Design, the famous experiment signed by Archizoom (Dario Bartolini, Andrea Branzi, Gilberto Corretti, Paolo Deganello, Lucia Morozzi and Massimo Morozzi).
The design culture of the radical architects becomes the key to rereading a founding moment of the Florentine neo-avant-garde movement of the 1960s and projecting it into the present, thus allowing us to fully understand the influence and impact that this movement had on the entire art scene of that period. The exhibition creates a dialogue between past and present, interweaving historical pieces from 'Dressing is easy' with new productions, to build new visions of the future.
