African Diaspora Film Festival

The African Diaspora Cinema Festival (ADCF), now in its ninth edition, will return to Florencefrom September 3 to 6, 2025, bringing to the heart of the city a vibrant celebration of cinema, art, music, dance, and fashion linked to the African diaspora.

The 2025 edition will be particularly unique for its itinerant format: screenings and cultural activities will take place at various locations across Florence, including Instabile – Culture in Movimento, as well as New York University Florence, Cinema Giunti Odeon, and Recovery Plan.

But ADCF is more than just cinema: it’s a multisensory and participatory experience, where each evening comes alive with panel discussions, meetings with filmmakers, sustainable fashion performances, live music, and convivial moments at the ADCF BAR an open-air space surrounded by greenery, dedicated to conversation, networking, and the discovery of African and vegan food.
