On Saturday, 31st January, at 4:00 pm, at the Teatro della Pergola, the young pianist Gabriele Strata returns in concert for the Amici della Musica.
A rising star of the piano, with outstanding recent achievements at the international Chopin and Van Cliburn competitions, silver medallist at the 2024 Concours Musical International de Montréal, and winner of the Rio de Janeiro International Piano Competition in 2023, Gabriele Strata opens with this recital his three-year residency with the Amici della Musica. The programme pairs masterpieces by Chopin with the contemporary sound worlds of Adès and Crumb. Gabriele Strata was a guest of the Fortissimissimo Firenze Festival in the 2019 and 2020 editions.
