Grape Festival 2025 in Impruneta

Everything is ready in Impruneta for the 99th Grape Festival, scheduled for Sunday 28 September 2025 starting at 2:30 pm. The day will begin with a parade by the Giuseppe Verdi Philharmonic Orchestra of Impruneta, followed by greetings from the President of the Festa dell'Uva, Filippo Venturi, and the mayor, Riccardo Lazzerini.

At 3:00 pm, the performances of the four districts will begin, each with its own original interpretation: the Sant'Antonio district will offer a poetic reflection on the evolution of society, with references to tradition and modernity; the Sante Marie district will stage the contrast between order and disorder, in a natural and contemporary key; the Rione delle Fornaci will be inspired by rural life and the tradition of planting roses at the end of rows, telling a story of roots and memory; finally, the Rione Pallò will present a fantastic narrative on the legendary origins of grapes.

This will be followed by the award ceremony for the 44th Grape Showcase, the district solidarity competition for blood donations, the announcement of the winning district and the placing of the flag on the balcony of the Town Hall.

The prize is a cup created by artist Antonella Andrei, a detailed and symbolic work dedicated to tradition. Filled with grapes and bearing the symbols of the four districts, at the base two winged caryatids represent strength and freedom. The cup celebrates the role of women and the silent but essential work that supports the Grape Festival.
