Hespèrion XXI - Jordi Savall, conductor and viola da gamba player for Amici della Musica

The poet of the viola da gamba, Jordi Savall, returns to the Niccolini Theatre in Florence for a concert in the Amici della Musica di Firenze season with Hespèrion XXI. He will be accompanied by Xavier Díaz Latorre on guitar and David Mayoral on percussion. 'Il giardino delle Esperidi' (The Garden of the Hesperides) is the title of the programme, which delves into the traditional repertoire, accompanying it with compositions by Pedro Guerrero, Diego Ortiz, Francisco Correa de Arauxo and Gaspar Sanz. The concert is not included in the season ticket.
