Horror Festival Florence and 12th edition of the Palio of the Florentine Historical Exercises

Florence is ready to welcome its first festival dedicated to live horror. On March 28th–29th, 2026, the Visarno Hippodrome will be transformed into a dark universe where monsters and fears come to life through immersive experiences, shows, scenic art, and macabre culture. Horror Festival Firenze will offer activities for all ages. Visitors will be spoiled for choice among themed escape rooms, a vintage-style amusement park, roaming performers, exhibitions and live art, a horror/dark market, as well as interviews and panels with industry professionals.

On March 29, the 12th edition of the Palio of the Historic Florentine Businesses will also take place with an extraordinary novelty: this year, alongside HFF – Horror Festival Florence, the first edition of the immersive festival dedicated to horror culture in Tuscany will be held.

Among the guests there will be prominent figures from the world of the macabre, including film directors, performers and scare actors, props makers, and makeup artists, creating a well-rounded horror imagination.
